About Berlin Breathwork
Where science meets practice.
Breathwork for mental and physical health — and an empowered society.
Since February 2026, BERLIN BREATHWORK has been the new platform for breathwork in Berlin and beyond.
Founded by initiator, entrepreneur, and breath coach Yasmine Orth, as a project of her organization THE LOVERS & LEADERS, and designed by an interdisciplinary, co-creative team from practice, science, and psychotherapy.
The organization implements projects characterized by a close integration of science and the practice of breathwork, and represents its diverse community and various protagonists.
The entire initiative originated from the BERLIN BREATHWORK DAYS (current information available at Berlin Breathwork Days 2026), which Yasmine has been organizing since 2024 in cooperation with Prof. Isabel Dziobek from Humboldt University.
Featuring presentations on current studies, breathwork sessions of various techniques, and panel discussions, this international summit has established itself as a popular community event and an interdisciplinary platform for fruitful exchange between research and experience.
Further projects that have emerged from this include the interdisciplinary Berlin Breathwork Council, which develops positions and guidelines on important issues in its own working groups, as well as the regular newsletter Berlin Breathwork Journal featuring interviews, news, and background information on breathwork.
