The Initiators

Yasmine Orth and Isabel Dziobek have shared a close friendship for 30 years. In recent years, Isabel has been an active speaker at Yasmine's Female Leadership 'Salon Mondaine' and on The Lovers & Leaders stage at the Yoga United Festival. Her presentations included Mindful Sustainability Leadership, her work as an empathy researcher, and, last year, excerpts from her latest study (co-authored with Martha Havenith) on breathwork.

For the main day on Friday (May 16), the LEARNING LAB, Yasmine and Isabel have
once again curated a holistic program.

INITIATOR, CURATOR, METAMORPHYSIS BREATH, FOUNDER THE LOVERS & LEADERS

Yasmine Orth is the initiator of the Berlin Breathwork Days, the organization and community THE LOVERS & LEADERS, an entrepreneur with two private event spaces in Berlin utilized by companies and brands for events and seminars, and a Breathwork Facilitator.

  • Creator:
    With Indian-German roots, Yasmine has spent 20 years in Berlin as a bridge-builder, pioneer, networker, event organizer, community architect, and catalyst in the domains of 'Female Empowerment & Leadership, Mindfulness & Health, and Creativity & Social Sustainability for heart-led leadership' (Lead with Love).

    Curator:
    Since 2010, her diverse co-creative journeys, retreats, workshops, salons, and festival stages have served as spaces for experimentation, research, and encounter. These platforms foster communal experiences and pioneer the sensing, envisioning, and embodying of a new society where we live more in harmony with ourselves, our environment, and the planet.

    Entrepreneur:
    Yasmine has been an entrepreneur since 2003, holding a degree in PR and communications management. She has operated event spaces for 15 years and has organized hundreds of events, both proprietary and for clients.

    Inner Work & Growth:
    Since 2009, she has undergone extensive training in healing and energy work with spiritual teacher Mari Nil. She was certified as a systemic life coach (Coaching-Spirale, 2017) by her first mentor, Alexandra-Schwarz-Schilling, and received training in energy/healing work from spiritual medium Pavlina Klemm in 2024. She is a certified energy trainer (Yoga Vidya) and Breathwork therapist (Vidya & Klaus Ulbricht, naou Bewussstseinsschule/Lichtatmung®), having also completed training in 'Energy Medicine/Spiritual Healing' with them.

    Yasmine is currently undergoing training with neuroscientist Martha Havenith in Frankfurt a.M. to become an 'Into the Deep - Conscious Connected Breathwork' facilitator (trauma-informed).

    She has developed her own Conscious Breathwork format METAMORPHYSIS, where she integrates meditation, bodywork, and breathwork, practiced with co-facilitators.

Prof. Dr. Isabel Dziobek

Isabel Dziobek is a Professor of Clinical Psychology and Head of the University Outpatient Clinic for Psychotherapy and Psychodiagnostics at Humboldt University of Berlin.

  • Her interests and research focus on social-cognitive and affective neurosciences, specifically emotion processing, empathy, and altered states of consciousness in individuals with and without mental disorders (autism, personality disorders, depression). For her research, she utilizes, among other methods, brain imaging techniques (EEG, fMRI), movement/breathing interventions, and technology-based training such as social robotics.

    Isabel Dziobek has published over 150 research articles in scientific journals and co-authored several works on the socio-emotional effects of psychedelics and entactogens. She has conducted numerous multicenter, third-party funded studies and has received multiple awards for her work, including the Charlotte and Karl Bühler Prize from the German Psychological Society in 2014.

    She received her education and worked at institutions including Ruhr University Bochum, New York University, the Max Planck Institute for Human Development, and Freie Universität Berlin, before being appointed to Humboldt University of Berlin in 2014. She is also a cognitive behavioral therapist and yoga instructor.
